Demo Against the Deportation of Mohammed Arrian

There was an assembly today outside Sheffield Town Hall to express support for Mohammed Arrian who is facing deportation back to Afghanistan on the 17th Jnauary

Mohammed is facing deportation despite concerns for his safety on return to Afghanistan. His family in Sheffield, however, have been granted permission to stay on in the UK indefinitely because of concerns about their safety. Friends, colleagues and supporters of Mohammed feel that he should have the right to stay here with his family. Mohammed is currently being detained in Dover Immigration Removal Centre.

Another demo is planned for Wednesday 11th January at 4pm on the Town Hall steps.
