this email is being sent as an emergency measure to prevent the eviction of Brighton resident Amir-Hasam Nasabazadeh from the UK.
Amir is an asylum seeker/political refugee who has been living in Brighton while seeking asylum to stay. In Iran, where he's from, he was imprisoned and tortured for his political beliefs.
Today Amir was given his removal papers and if we don't do something about it, will be forceably removed this Thursday, 17th.
please please, if you can do anything to help, please send me an email.. Also you can call the Brighton Unemployed Centre (540717) where Tony is working on trying to create an ad hoc protest group at the airport. He needs help, please call him today if you have time.
We also need as many people as possible to contact their MP to ask them to prevent the removal which has worked in the past apparently. find your MP at http://www.locata.co.uk/ and send them an email or call their emergency number at the houses of parliament and ask for your mp's office - 020 7219 3000
thank you,
Mark

Dear Sir,
I write with the greatest concern for my friend Amir-Hasam Nasabazadeh who
has been served his deportation papers this morning and faces forceable
removal from the UK on this Thursday the 17th of November. He is from
Iran and is seeking asylum as in his country he was a political prisoner
and was tortured while inprisoned and faces similar violations if he is
returned. He has a fresh asylum claim in progress.
We cannot allow this to take place, so I urge you to please look into the
issue immediately and to help us prevent his removal.
yours faithfully,
******
