About 200 blacks and Asians faced each other off with baseball bats on street corners, for several hours and some elements smashed cars, smashed dozens of shop windows and in the worst incident of the night, a taxi cab driven by an Asian was surrounded, then set alight by the black gang who cheered as the driver was consumed by the flames.
Handsworth before the war and the arrival of mass immigration was one of the smartest places you could wish to live. Immigrants have turned this once desirable area into a violent, gun-toting, drug dealing, ghetto where 12-year-old girls provide oral sex for a crack pipe in shop doorways still dressed in their school uniforms.
Unless the Government send in the Police to smash up the drug dealing gangs, the Black yardies who indulge in organised crime, paedophillia, people smuggling and prostitution; unless the Government makes it clear to the equally violent drug dealing Asian gangs, who indulge in organised crime, people smuggling and prostitution, who is in charge, and makes it clear that the streets of Britain are not going to be used as battlegrounds by gun toting criminal gangsters then last night’s events will become ever more commonplace and long suffering white residents will be caught up in the cross-fire.
