A BNP councillor has been accused of racially aggravated disorderly conduct.
Angela Clarke, 36, of Bankfield Drive, Keighley, denied the offence when she appeared at Bingley Court on Tuesday.
She was joined in the dock by co-accused Paul O'Gara, 41, of Worth Avenue, Stockbridge.
Clarke -- a Keighley West Ward representative on Bradford Council and a Keighley town councillor -- arrived in court already accused of offences of threatening behaviour and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty.
She has denied all three offences, said to have taken place in Keighley on Sunday, September 4.
Magistrates dismissed a request from her solicitor, Keith Blackwell, for the case to be remitted to a court in North Yorkshire.
He argued that because she was a prominent councillor and in the interests of "justice being seen to be done" it should be heard on neutral territory.
O'Gara faces charges of resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty on the same day. He also denied the offences.
Magistrates adjourned the hearing for a pre-trial review, to take place at Bingley on Wednesday, November 2.
