The proposed development of 900 parking spaces at a retailpark in Giltbrook, Nottingham will not take place after developers pulled the plans just before a public meeting about the plans. Local residents had voiced their concernes especially on the point of increase of traffic in the area. Furthermore people state a 'lack of consultation' which has been denied by RPS Planning, the company that planned the project. Over 100 people attended a public meeting last week.
