Explosions in London

Seven blasts went off within three hours, at five tube stations and on a bus. The transport network has been completely shut down. The first blast went off just after 9am at Aldgate station, near the financial district. A second blast then went off at Edgeware Rd station. Then, a massive blast ripped the roof off a bus in Tavistock Square. There was now no doubt that this was a planned attack. Further attacks occured in Russell Square, Liverpool St and Kings Cross tube stations.
Tony Blair has rushed back to London from the G8 Summit in Gleneagles, but not before hosting an impromptu press conference flanked by world leaders where he shakily announced "we condemn these barbaric attacks...those responsible have no respect for human life ....we are united in our resolve to fight this attack...on civilised people everywhere. we will not allow violence to change our society or its values. We will continue our deliberation to create a better world."
It is widely beleived that this is an act of Islamist violence that may have been timed to coincide with the G8 Summit currently taken place in Gleneagles.
