I am here scouting out a number of places for others and we today found massive local opposition in the Craigmiller area. Despite the best efforts of many who had tried to get the local community on board there is a united feeling of "we don't want you here".

Regretfully this is not just a Daily Mail reading minority but is the view of nearly everyone that we met. Threats have been made and it is likely tents and equipment will be damaged if the area is used.

Other spaces are available but the council is doing all it can to be difficult. DO NOT camp in parks, they will take your equipment and tents.
