The Fuk The G8 Hip Hop EP 12" Vinyl is out now. It is a Limited pressing and features 4 tunes by Manage, Syanyde, Chemo and MC Excentral The Tempest. Its AntiCapiatalist, Anti G8, Anti Cop, pro partying and Fooking havin' it!!!.
The Fuk the G8 12" Vinyl Ep is out now.
This is it, musik is a weapon, its time we picked it up and used it.
The 4 tracks on this are all political 2 of them are specific to the G8 summit and the main track is dedicated to Carlo Giuliani, who was shot down at the G8 Summit in genoa.
Riot is a satirical banger of a tune, its all about going to Gleneagle, laughing at the spectacle of it all and standing up and fighting back.
1984 samples Bush and Rumsfield and is classic UK hip Hop condemning the class nature of society and the post 911 encroaching system of surveilled social control.
Fuk The G8 is a mellow spliff smoking self explanatory track and catalyst is a musing on pain and how it can be a catalyst for change. Excentral's flow is fooking having it and she stands apart as a super dope female MC dropping knowledge in the oft too macho world of HIP HOP.
The Vinyl is out now and available mail order and through various unrespektable outlets.
It sells at £5 and is available in bulk orders (5 0r more) for £3. This is a totally non profit anti G8 adventure.
All money raised will go to paying off the cost of the pressing and hopefully towards putting out more Konshus political sounds.
