I wrote to the Press Complaints Commission.

Here's the reply I got.

Dear Mr Jones



Further to my email of 18th March regarding your complaint about the Sun’s coverage of issues relating to Gypsy camps.



The PCC has learned that the matter is currently the subject of a police investigation in regard to concerns over possible incitement to racial hatred. In these circumstances, therefore, we will not be able to pursue any investigation while such legal action is ongoing.



Once all proceedings regarding the Sun have been concluded, the Commission may return to the matter and decide how to take it further. We will – of course – endeavour to keep you fully informed.
