Day Of Prison Films At Maelstrom - Saturday December 18th
After a night out in Bradford at the Solidarity South Pacfic benefit dinner being held at the '1 in 12' Club on the evening of the 17th December, why not spend the following day chilling out at Leeds Maelstrom anti-repression squat (The Old Post Office, Hyde Park Corner) with a day of prison films?! The event is a fund-raiser for Leeds new Anarchist Black Cross group, and will include vegan food, a benefit bar, 4 films, and a quiz. Times for the films are as follows, and the quiz will take place after the last film is shown.
11.00am - Porridge breakfast with 'Porridge' the film. Fancy dress optional!
1.30pm - 'Das Experiment' - Powerful German film about a prison experiment.
4.00pm - 'Murder In The First' - Alcatraz is put on trial. Starring Kevin Bacon, Gary Oldman, and Christian Slater.
7.30pm - 'The Shawshank Redemption' - Award-winning prison drama starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman.

There will be a picket of prison slavery firm Wilkinson's Leeds city centre store starting at 1.00pm. Please attend!
