Right now Travellers around the country are facing
eviction from their own land due to local, council and
governmental racist policies. We need to organise in
solidarity with this persecuted group as more and more
Travellers are forced into 'homeless' accommodation
(Bed and Breakfast or at best council houses) where
they are isolated from their communities and their way
of life is destroyed. If they refuse to live in bricks
and mortar they are forced to go on the road, but
there is nowhere to stop that they will not be moved
on from by the police.

This meeting is to organise a London action group to
oppose the evictions and persecution of Travellers.
Please come, bringing your own ideas
about how to resist evictions and the bailiffs and
councils responsible.
