Sainsbury's picket in Lancaster

Also for the first time staff came out to get leaflets (they'd always ignored us before, refusing leaflets) - they seemed to know something was up, and that something was to do with GM...
But then, it would have been hard for staff not to notice that something was up. They were scurrying round on both Fri and Sat, trying to make the shelves look full. By saturday they'd given up and had emptied whole chiller cabinets to try and make others look like they had food in them. Everything was pushed to the front, and the back of the shelves were empty. Milk was mainly from Robert Wisemans rather than Sainsbury's own brand, and a lot of the meat on sale was reduced 50% - with the best before date being that day (they must have raided the skips to make the shelves look fuller)...
So go and check your local sainsbury's and see if they've recovered yet... and while you're there ask where the "not fed on GM animal feed" milk is - tell them that they've proven they can do it if they want to, and it's no good hiding it away so that they can claim no-ones interested in buying it!
