Bayer Cropscience absent from the Multihulls circuit
Confronted with important structural changes within the group on an international level, the Bayer Company decided not to participate in the Multihulls circuit in 2004.

... 2004 will be a transition year for the Bayer Cropscience trimaran, which will only take part in a few public relations operations for the Bayer Group, with a limited crew."
Anyway, if anyone is interested (for whatever reason), Bayer has many many links with sports sponsorship as well as being the main company behind GM crops in the UK and the target of a campaign to put economic pressure on their entire operation to encourage them to drop their recently aquired GM interests.
Loads more stuff about them in the Biotech section ...
