Sheffield Public donate £75 to Nine Ladies defenders

Sheffield Samba Band played in the city centre today to raise money and awareness for Nine Ladies.

People in Sheffield City Centre paused in their shopping this Saturday afternoon to read information about the Nine Ladies anti-quarry campaign. 300 leaflets were given out by Sheffield Samba Band as they attracted attention with their funky rhythms. Over £75 was donated by the public to support the defenders of the site.
