A Cult, the Psychiatric Industry, and a Spirit Stole My Life ~ and I Want It Back! (and I am Not Crazy, Damn It!)

Indianapolis, IN – January, 24, 2004 – There is so much pain, humiliation and anger associated with what I am about to relate, that I hope you will understand if I just state some of the main facts of the case, leaving the blanks that compose the whole story to be filled in at another time.

To wit:

• My senior year in high school, (’89-90, Brebeuf Preparatory, Indianapolis, IN) one of my teachers, Mr. Bob Pearly, hypnotized me after class one day.
• He was in cohorts with some private psych. organization or foundation.
• They (and others) falsely diagnosed me with schizophrenia.
• They had concocted some stupid scheme to use me to get at the state psych. industry.
• They planted bugs to spy on me and record everything I said.
• As part of my “treatment,” my teachers publicly humiliated me in class every day and my family abused me every night.
• All of my classmates knew about this, but none were allowed to tell me.
• *skip ahead a dozen years*
• I enroll at Manatee Community College (Bradenton, FL).
• My “professors” there continued this abuse under the same pretense.
• The State of Florida’s psych. dept. thinks it is a good idea to put a video camera in my computer monitor to record my every action, so they do.
• Then this cult called Ekankar comes out and says I am channeling some spirit or other.
• They go to court many times over this and, apparently, here’s what they got:
• the tapes the psych. org. had of me,
• the tapes the State of Florida had of me,
• the supposed right to keep taping me,
• the “right” to fine anybody (at least in Florida) who would tell me about this and, correspondingly, a gag order on the media
• they put up a web site that “predicts” everything that has happened to me over the past year (everything I do, everyone I talk to, everything I watch on TV)
• Oh, and they had to set up a multi-million bank account in my name
• And I am, sort of, channeling some spirit. Apparently, this thing communicates with other people through my eyes. People ask a yes or no question and my eyes either move up/down or the pupils dilate or something like that in response. And so, over the past few years, I have been constantly harassed and abused by people trying to get at this spirit. e.g.:
• A little while ago, I was a waiter at a restaurant called Bertolini’s. In the brief time I was there the g.m., Cifton Carmody, said that he hated me; another manager, Gary, called me evil; and one of the chef’s, Porfirio (sp.), shoved the pizza shovel up against my throat, put his face an inch from mine and said “I’m going to kill you.” Again, it was not me they hated but this spirit. Unfortunately, they were either too stupid to realize or too insensitive to care that it was me they were harassing and abusing and not this spirit.

There is so much more to this that I hardly know where to begin, but I think this is enough to get the basic idea. This is all true, and can be verified quite easily. Which is where you come in. What I need is some validation, the smallest bit of proof that what I have said here is true: one taped interview, one page from that website, one court document, any physical proof that validates what I have said here. To the reporter that has the guts to blow the lid on this thing, this is the story of your lifetime, and it won’t be that hard to confirm. Specifically, I would recommend interviewing:

• ****And most importantly, my “professors” and fellow students at Manatee Community College (MCC Bradenton, 5840 26th Street West, Bradenton, Florida phone: 941-752-5000), specifically and especially culpable are: Mr. And Mrs. Frith, Phyllis McMahon (among other despicable acts, she hypnotized our entire Western Civ. Class), Courtney Ruffner and Micheal Buonanno.


If it is true that there is in any way a gag order on this, let me say that no one has the right to silence the truth, especially some deranged cult. This is all true and more than a little newsworthy. I hereby give any and all journalists the right to publish my story. It is unconstitutional and unjustifiable to fine a journalist or their media outlet for reporting the truth and I will go to any length to defend that right.
