In this case, backdoor identity cards to track your movements on public transport - yes, now we have the Oystercard.
Bus and train fairs in this country are already way too high. There are too many cars on the road, but then most of us cannot afford one ( ripoff insurance, tax, speed cameras, parts, police hassle etc. ). They cause a lot of environmntal damage and so public transport wopuld be useful. ( Though not any shape or form of PPP, PFI. Even a cretin knows that is theft )
Bus and train fairs have just gone up as of 4th january in London. I( Probably part of this is to fund the Oystercard scheme and any other part privatisation scam ). You can get cheaper tickets if you buy an Oystercard. The downside is, your movements are tracked.
Obviously, a lot of consultants and the usual suspects have made more money out of this. The rest of us - will suffer. again, though, as part of London's 'structural adjustment' of property, transport etc. - this city is just for rich tourists and the planet's rich businesspeople, property speculators and their spoilt shopping-crazy brats. Not only are they destroying the environment, making the lives of the majority harder, but they are getting rewarded for it. They can also watch the poor - keep tabs of any dissent ( if you go by public transport ).
Nice to see that those eco-disaster 737's keep gettting stopped from flying out of Heathrow. Lets hope they stop flying in from the USA too. Lets hope they stop the ones from Saudi too! Yes these fuckers actually fly in to the west End from the middle East jsut to do a couple of days shopping in the west End and Knightsbridge!
