Amnesty International Benefit in Glasgow
Owen Duffy | 23.11.2003 21:13
The bands performing are Screaming About Nothing (melodic/discordant band influenced by Tool), Audiophile (indie rock influenced by Radiohead and the Smashing Pumpkins) and MIA (funk rock influenced by Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine).
The gig starts at 9pm downstairs at the 13th Note and admission is £3 on the door. Every penny raised from this gig will be donated to Amnesty International. The bands are supporting the cause by playing for free and the venue operators were kind enough to support Amnesty by providing free use of their facilities, so we stand a good chance of raising a lot of money to help support human rights around the world.
