Boycott ZARA
Fashion retailer ZARA is selling garments made from real fur, despite complaints from many customers. Even store managers do not want to sell it but are told to by head office. The company has been provided with evidence of the cruelty of fur farming but will not stop their support for this horrific trade!
The fur on sale in ZARA comes from rabbits who are crammed into bare wire cages, denied the ability to breath fresh air or run or hop. Packed in, up to a dozen in a cage , they will suffer so much that 10% will not even surve to the age at which they are due to be slaughtered. Some rabbits are killed at just 8 weeks old and their fur made into trim and cheap garments, their flesh used for pet food. Others whose fur is used for ‘higher quality’ clothing live in these conditions for 7 months before having their necks broken or their throats slit.
