REGIONAL LISTS? No They're Not!

I fully appreciate the hard work volunteers are putting in to built up the indymedia network, but the thing is that these regional lists are no such thing. They're just redistributed stuff from the main list.
I've been posting stuff from the West Country, in the hope that it would just show up in the West Country, but it ends up on the national list too. Maybe I'm just being greedy, as we've already got the genuinely independent Bristol Indymedia to post stuff on.
But I can see a real problem developing, where people start sending more & more localised stuff to their regional indymedia, because they expect it will stay there, but in reality the national list just gets more & more clogged with regional information which only the region concerned is likely to be interested in.
I think we should either have genuinely regional lists, or not bother, as a redistributed list masquerading as separate lists is just a recipe for the National List first getting completely clogged, then resulting in people losing interest in both the regional & national indymedia's to escape the information overload.
