EDF Invasion Plan Announced For
Aberystwyth This Thursday

Troops of the English Defence Force (EDF) will invade
and occupy Aberystwyth on Thursday 5th June declaring
it a Closed Military Zone.

EDF will be imposing curfew, building checkpoints,
and asking for ID cards from all people who look
slightly Welsh. They will be especially suspicious of
Welsh speakers because they are known from past
experience to be terrorists. As a mark of respect for
Her Majesty, EDF soldiers will refuse to speak in any
other language than the Queens English.

EDF troops will be armed with M16 machine guns and
have access to Tanks, Helicopter and F16 air support
if needed, as well as nuclear and biological weapons,
but these are unlikely to be used on the first
morning.

In a direct message to the people of Aberystwyth, the
EDF Spokesperson said, 'Do not leave your home unless
you are prepared to risk being killed. If approaching
EDF troops you must wear a fluorescent orange jacket,
hold your hands clearly in the air and waive a white
flag. You must do whatever you are told. You may be
killed anyway. EDF may arrest, beat or kill you if
they feel like it. It is best to obey all their
orders.'

'Tourists entering the town must sign a waiver form
allowing them to be killed by us if necessary, and
declaring that they are not international peace
activists, or human rights monitors. Journalists may
also be killed if caught taking photographs.'

The EDF states that 'Aberystwyth is a known centre of
dangerous Welsh militancy, the leaders of which must
be assassinated to show an example to the rest of the
population of the disputed territories of Wales. As
soon as these people are identified, EDF Special
Forces- our elite death squads- will assassinate them,
for the security of the state of England. There will be
no legal hearings first, these take much to long.'

'We will continue with this operation until
Aberystwyth
is secure and we have surrounded it with a high
security wall, guard posts, and an electrified fence
that will completely cut it off from the rest of Wales
and the world.'

The EDF Spokesperson also thanked the more moderate
English speaking population of Wales for their
continued support for English rule in Wales over the
last 700 years.

Why Has Aberystwyth Been Invaded?

The events of June 5th will mark the date in 1967 when Israel invaded East Jerusalem, as well as the entire West
Bank and the Gaza Strip. From here it began a brutal
campaign of land theft, colonisation, military
control, collective punishment, and impoverishment
towards what now contitutes over three and a half million Palestinian people.

Despite dozens of UN resolutions demanding a
withdrawal to the pre '67 border this has not yet
happened. Instead there are now between 200,000 and
350,000 armed and illegal Israeli settlers [colonists]
living in the West Bank alone, who have been sponsored
to go there by the Israeli government, and
who under UN Security Council resolutions 242 nd 388
have no right to be there. This number increased
during the Oslo peace process and contributed to Oslo’s
demise, as did Ariel Sharon’s uninvited and violent
visit to East Jerusalem's Al-Asqa Mosque in September
2000, provoking the present intifada.

The UN Security Council has failed to act against
Israel because every attempt to do so has been vetoed
by the United States. Despite Israel's possession of
Weapons Of Mass Destruction, (nuclear and chemical)
and the forth largest Army on the planet, no UN
weapons inspectors have been allowed in.

Despite an appalling history of ethnic cleansing, war
crimes against innocent men women and children, and
breeches of the Geneva Convention, as well as
virtually all articles of the UN Declaration Of Human
Rights, Israel has not been seriously challenged by
the so called international community to stop its
aggressive actions against the Palestinian population.


Even with the current Road Map peace plan there is an
urgent need for international human rights monitors in
Palestine because the plan fails to provide them.

Israel has taken lethal steps in recent months to
intimidate such human rights activity and monitoring
in the occupied territories. The killing and maiming
of American and British peace activists Rachel Corrie,
Tom Hurndall, and Brian Avery, as well as the killing
of several Arab and Western journalists trying to
document the situation, has endangered the security of
Palestinian civilians even more so than usual.

We call for an immediate dispatch of UN human rights
monitors and observers-as repeatedly requested by the
Palestinians-to fill the role that has now fallen to
voluntary citizens of the world that have lost their
lives in the process, as a direct result of the UN
failing in its obligations.

We abhor all forms of racism -including anti-semitism
-and today is also one of support for the brave Jewish
and Israeli peace activists who battle against the
tide of manipulated Israeli public opinion for a just
settlement with their Palestinian neighbours and
friends.

But more than anyone it is the Palestinians themselves
who have suffered from this occupation, and it is a
tragedy that those that victimise them come from a
community that itself has been the victim of
historical persecution and systematic genocide.

The horrific crime of the Holocaust however
does not give its victims or their offspring the right
to persecute another people, that have no
responsibility for that crime.
