Iraqi War Memorial

A War memorial for all the innocent victims of the War on iraq, 20 March 2003 is planned for central Oxford and there are petitions at the Quaker centre, Magic Cafe, Uhuru asking for this.

The Oxford Iraq Memorial Trust aims to preserve the memory of all the innocent victims of the war on Iraq. The media quickly moves on but we must not allow the victims and promised reconstruction to be forgotten. Oxford has a wonderful diversity of cultures and the memorial will symbolise the unity of the people of Oxford.
