Hamas agrees ceasefire despite the Israelis having gone flatout to sabotage it by a huge intensification of murders, home demolitions and arrests in the last week or so, directed against suspected Hamas members.
Did Israel welcome this remarkable ceasefire development? No. A spokesman said "it is not worth the paper it is written on." The question is now - will Israel dare to goad the US further by continuing its drive to provoke Hamas even more, in the hope of destroying the ceasefire ? ? .........
