Has Indymedia been kicked off Google?

A right-wing blog / message board site in the US has written to Google claiming racism in Indymedia sites. This is (supposedly) the reply they got:

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your email. We have recently removed Indymedia from our news sources. Stories that are already in our Google News search results may still show up for the next few weeks.

Is this true? Please write to Google and explain Indymedia's editorial policy. This is a serious blow to the Indymedia network if true.
