Open Plea to United Nations to Stop American Terrorism

I was shocked when the United Nations Security Council stood silently by while the terrorist Bush regime attacked Iraq and bypassed the only legitimate international course of action. France has been the only country brave enough to stand up against the march of American imperialism, while even Russia and China silently watched as the United States conducted an illegal and immoral war against a much weaker nation.
Colin Powell lied to you about the presence of weapons of mass destruction. There are no WMD worth killing thousands of innocent civilians over, yet you still watch silently as the US floods the world with its propaganda about ‘liberating’ Iraq. And now, the United States asks YOU to go into Iraq and repair the damage that its own belligerence has caused. Do you really take your orders from George Bush now?
The terrorists who run Washington have backed down on their previous threats to attack Syria. The Syrian Foreign Minister offered a proposal that made a lot of sense. Why not ask the ENTIRE Middle Eastern Region, including Israel, to destroy all weapons of mass destruction? The answer is obvious - the neo-conservative Bush Administration is fully supportive of the Zionists who continue to work to destabilize the region, and to weaken and eventually ‘liberate’ (translation conquer) the Arab nations.
Surely you are aware of the published American plans to dominate the world in this century. Surely you understand clearly the American plan to attack all nations deemed to be part of the ‘axis of evil’. Surely you also have questioned the veracity of events surrounding September 11 and more recently the Bali bombing in Indonesia?
I am myself an Australian-American with family still living in the United States. Together with millions of other Americans, I am questioning the legitimacy and the honesty of the current Bush administration. There is a growing movement in the United States to impeach President Bush. Like millions of other Americans, I also believe that George Bush should be investigated for his involvement and knowledge of the events of September 11. Will you continue to support a President who has murdered his own people in order to declare war on the imaginary enemy of ‘terrorism’? How, in the final analysis, is George Bush any better than Saddam Hussein? Personally, I never felt threatened by Saddam Hussein. But I feel very threatened, together with the majority of the population on this planet, by a mad born-again Christian President who is trying to create his own version of Armageddon.
Since World War II the United States has waged continuous war on this planet. The United States is responsible for the countless deaths and suffering of a long list of countries where it has instituted puppet governments (including Saddam). The United States continues to develop weapons of mass destruction, and contravene international treaties regarding disarmament. The United States has used its influence and wealth to bribe and coerce poorer and weaker nations into supporting its global aggression. The United States continues to defy the Geneva Convention and to create its own ’laws’ with their illegal prison in Guantanamo Bay where hundreds of Muslims are detained and very possibly tortured. These prisoners include a number of children who have been illegally imprisoned since November 2001, without any legal representation, without any charge. The United States must be stopped, and the only chance we have of achieving world peace is for ALL the nations to join together to stop the cowboys in Washington.
I beg of you as a citizen of the world. I plead to your sense of right and wrong, to your judgment of fairness. Each of you is committed to working for world peace. Work together now to stop the United States and to restore some equilibrium to this world. Is it right that a nation with less than 10% of the world's population consumes more than 30% of the world's resources? Is it right that while millions of children are starving to death as a result of wars caused or started by the United States, millions of Americans are at the same time eating themselves to death? Is it right that the United States fuels its economy on promoting and conducting wars?
No, it is not right. And you, dear Ambassadors, are the only people on this planet in a position to stop the war machine, stop the United States, and restore some balance and harmony to our chaotic world.
The future of this planet is in your hands. Please help us.
