Anthem

Here we are,
What is left of my palace in the sand
With two good boys who raped at will
And terrorized the land
I'm not cold,
But I'm gettin a whole lot colder every day
It's too late to waste my enemies,
The bombs got in in my way
The reason that I can't stay don't have a thing to do with being alive,
I understand that being Saddam means you have to shuck and jive,
You ain't the only one who feels like this worlds' left you far behind,
I don't know why I had to go down a final time
My boys are gone,
the spittin image of those they killed before,
I hope some day we can see past the scars their victims wore,
And I remember everytime I swore I'd never leave,
But what I can't live with is the coalition rainin down on me
The reason that I can't stay don't have a thing to do with being your friend
I understand that France is against my regime's untimely end
You ain't the only one who feels that this worlds' left you far behind
But we'll all gather at a protest another time
30 years
Of living like a king has reached an end
I never will forget the fear i instilled in my countrymen
And how it hurts me everytime I think of the look in their eyes
I'll miss the torture, the genocide and the raping of their wives
The reason that I can't stay don't have a thing to do with being a man
I know all of you who protested for me surely understand
You ain't the only one who feels that this worlds' left you far behind
I don't know why we have to be losers all the time
I don't know why we have to be losers all the time
