Spanish MP resigns over Iraq War

Tomorrow 10th of April Spaniards will go on General Strike to add further pressure on the discredited PP. This General Strike could be a turning point because the call was made by students, minor Unions, Social movements, neightbourhood associations, Christians, pacifists, etc..instead of the two big Unions CCOO and UGT. If succesful, this could represent a major demonstration of genuin popular power against corrupt leaders in Europe in the recent times.
Since the war began Spaniards, Catalans, Galizian and Basque People all over the State have taken to the streets with uninterrupted cacerolazos, demonstrations, traffic disruptions, School-closings, squattering for peace, concerts, theater, etc... In cities like Barcelona and Madrid the atmosphere was that of real social change. Even right-wing journalists and commentators have joined the amazing 91% of the population against the war.
Regime change may take place in Madrid sooner than in Baghdad.
