Tony Blair never struck me as the village idiot or even as a particularly ruthless power hungry despot. So, I have found it incomprehensible that he would risk his career, soldier's lives and honor of his country for a buffoon like G. W. Bush.
Then it struck me: He acts like a man who is being blackmailed. Then I thought about it - George Bush, Sr. was once the head of the CIA and still has strong ties with the agency and former agents. Bush II has manipulated the agency as if he thought it were his own personal detective agency. Putting two and two together, I formulated a theory:
Bush or his father have managed, via the CIA, to "get something" devastatingly damaging on Tony Blair - something so appalling (to Blair anyway) that he would go over a cliff for Bush rather than have it "leaked." The first thing that occurs is homosexual liaisons, because that is about the only thing I can think of short of murder that would cause Blair to turn into a poodle to avoid having revealed.
I think this would make Blair a two-time coward: First for sending soldiers to die in an immoral war, and second, sending soldiers to die to save his own sorry ass from disgrace.
