Just a shout-out to our protesting sister and brothers in the UK: please take note of the situations that are developing in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Today the police started to get more violent, were randomly arresting huge groups of people, and there are rumors of a serious confrontation brewing at the city jail, where hundreds of activists have been held.

Please check out sf.indymedia.org for news of whats happening. If you are able, call/fax/email the US embassy in the UK, San Francisco city officials ( http://www.ci.sf.ca.us/), whoever else comes to mind-- let them know that we aren't alone in this and that people are watching!
