World At War (ongoing extended version)

the world anticipates world war three
visionless leaders who cannot see
seeking retribution for the WTC

nations form a coalition
america france and of course, great britain
global might begins it's mission
against a beleaguered nation , in poor condition

attacks are imminent in afghanistan
against the outlawed taliban
russia on alert in tajikistan
and murmurs of rebellion in Pakistan

the world now waits with baited breath
as war is planned by a revenge fuelled west
the way it's going ,they'll be nothing left
civilisation lef to it's death

it's clear they have the military might
to defeat all nations in a fight
but no two wrongs will make things right
and war is mans most ugly sight

Yet should the west not shoulder blame
when foriegn policies are inhumane
world leaders hang your head in shame
you can not fight your pain with pain

So before you decide the fate of nations
and before you strike in retaliation
take a moment for delibiration
and sit at the table of negotiation

we can't allow our leaders to decide our fate
to act with vengence , and retaliate
we must speak out now before it's too late
let the people's future , be the people's debate

for it's about time this world it's killing ceased
and dialogue entered at the very least
harmony restored from west to east
and for all this world to live in peace


In afghanistan , the job is done
the taliban are on the run
pipeline construction has begun
a measurement of how this war is won

One year on the story the same
the agenda now saddam hussein
the US look poised to attack
and bomb the people of Iraq

resolutions brokered by the UN
to get inspectors into Iraq again
but the rule of international law
the US will flout and go to war

internationally we must condemn
America's war on saddam hussein
UN sanctions must be applied
if international law's defied

for they must act in accordance
with every bugger else
we simply can't allow them
to become a law unto themselves

so again i say it clearly
i shout it out aloud
US attempts to pursue conflict
simply must not be allowed

we must thwart them and frustrate them
and we really must not cease
the pursuit in opposition
of the war for global peace


18 months since the towers went down
An old Saddam's gone underground
cruise missiles launched early this morn
Saddam retaliated at the break of dawn

two scuds routed to northern Kuwait
on the iraqi border , america's army waits
America's war on perceived rogue nations
is a war theyll fight in isolation

when i say in isolation
i meant in tandem with great britain
who are only there to share the spoils
in the war for control of Iraqi oil

they can fight their war , but not in my name
and though i'm no advocate of saddam hussein
a preemptive strike on another nation
must be met with global condemnation

that's the irony of bush and blair
they invade iraq because they say they care
about the implementation of human rights
what a complete and utter load of shite

we all know why , they've gone to war
it's been said a million times before
western interest on middle east soil
is all about the control of oil

yet the anti war movement's growing strong
and we'll meet the fascists and fight head on
so sing it out and sing it loud
the time for world peace is NOW !
