The Circle is Complete

We've all heard that history repeats itself.  So it does...  We have come full circle in one of history's greatest ironies.  Not long ago, a fascist regime stood before the world and waged a war of naked aggression.  The fascist regime robbed a portion of its population of their human rights, placed a willing population under a police state's boot, and attacked the other nations of the world.  That nation, Hitler's Germany, was opposed by a coalition of states.  After the deaths of millions of innocent human beings, Hitler's Germany was defeated by an array of nations, one of which was the United States of America.

Today we are at the beginning of the same story.  The actors have changed roles.  The good guys are now the bad guys.  The victims are now the monsters and once again an innocent people's blood is spilled for the selfish interests of a racist ideology.

Son of a mass murderer, grandson of a Nazi collaborator, installed by a corrupt Supreme Court, and empowered by yet another Reichstag fire, the new dictator orders the dogs of war to ravage and murder the innocent.  The Siamese twin of Nazism, born joined at the hip with its sibling, different only in the color of its flag and chosen race loyalty, Zionism is the driving force behind this racist war and our dictator is a whore purchased to the cause through his greed for oil and lust for power.  The victims of today are Semites too, only they believe in Allah or Jesus and the riches that are stolen from the them are land rather than capital.

Just as Hitler had his brownshirts, Bush has his hate mongers.  Railing against freedom and liberty are Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, David Horowitz, and Michael Savage.  These stooges of the coup point their accusatory fingers at anyone who dares to declare the dictator naked.  They smear the brave who stand up to tyranny.  Horowitz calls for the mass arrest of dissidents.  Savage threatens to unleash brownshirts on his opponents.  O'Reilly reads fake emails, falsely reported to be from dissidents, on his fabricated show between taking potshots at whole nations and their people.  Limbaugh spews about liberals as if they were untouchable scum.

Free Republic brownshirts stalk the Internet, harassing any online forum where dissent is tolerated.  Some Free Republic members barge in on antiwar meetings, taking notes and identifying participants as "communists."  Free Republic spin-off groups spam Islamic forums with threats of genocide against Muslims and Arabs.

Reports now indicate that the fascist and illegal Bush regime will be rounding up all Muslim asylum seekers.  We've already seen mass arrests and mass deportations of men of Middle Eastern dissent, exempted of course are those blessed with the designation "Jewish."  There are rumors of concentration camps already constructed.  If these rumors are true, we should not be surprised.  It would not be the first time that Americans have been rounded up based on their race and forced to live in camps or reservations.  Nor should we be surprised at the violations of human rights, for Bush has already violated the Geneva Convention and currently houses prisoners of war under inhuman conditions on an illegal US Military base in Cuba - that is when he's not busy sending them to be tortured in Syria, Egypt, or Jordan.

During the time of Hitler, many an intellectual stood by and/or supported Hitler.  Take, for example, the brilliant philosopher Martin Heiddegger.  Who would have thought that he'd become a Nazi?  Then again, who would have thought that Alan Dershowitz would be advocating torture?  Who would have thought that a brave woman standing before a bulldozer would be ridiculed by Jews?  These are the same Jews that condemned all Germans for standing by and looking the other way as their Jewish parents and grandparents were slaughtered.  A young American woman, most probably educated by a school system influenced highly by the ADL, took literally the maxim "Never again!" and as a hero she applied it, sacrificing her life, only to be denounced by the offspring of Hitler's victims.

We stand here today, a nation in the grip of a racist ideology, waging war on behalf of a privileged minority conjoined with an even larger band of Christian religious bigots, both believing that divine province calls them to draw the sword and wipe out another race.

I, for one, will not stand by and remain silent while my nation parades upon the world stage as a blood thirsty monster possessed with an evil and wicked ideology, slaughtering countless innocent women, children, and men!  I am not alone!  Shame on us for not lashing out earlier!  Shame on our neighbors, friends, and family members who burry their heads in denial!  We have become monsters and the wrath of the world will be upon us if we do not end this insanity now.

The true heroes of today are not the soldiers marching off to war.  Hitler's soldiers marched off to war too!  They suffered and they were victims of his maniacal plans and it is likely that few of them could see an alternative before them, but that did not make them heroes.  Cows herded off to the slaughter share the same fate, only they don't murder.  The true heroes of today are those who say NO!  The true heroes of today are sitting in jail cells for their acts of defiance.  The true heroes of today are those who stand up against bulldozers, padded police monstrosities, and businessmen who murder with the wave of a hand.  There are no heroes in the White House - only chicken shit cowards!  There are no heroes in the Supreme Court - only over privileged assholes that use the Constitution to wipe their butts!  There are no heroes in Congress, save the few that have already spoken out.

The only heroes that matter will come from the people.
