March 4— Turkey’s decision not to allow US forces to be deployed along that country’s border with Iraq was a complication that could delay military action against Baghdad, but only by a matter of weeks at the most, US officials said on Monday.
All the huffing and puffing about special forces in Iraq is intended to bluff the French and Russians, don't believe it: this war is delayed at least four weeks, and possibly more if the UN does not go their way.

"With the Turkish parliament voting on Saturday to deny Washington access to bases and facilities inside Turkey, the US has acknowledged that there could be a putting back of plans to strike at Iraq over its alleged possession of weapons of mass destruction.
