PEACE CAMP @ COLCHESTER GARRISON FOR GULF WAR TROOPS

We have now (Sunday 2pm) established the Peace Action camp outside the Barracks of the 16th Air assault Battalion, as it prepares to go to Kuwait, and join Bush's assault and invasion of Iraq.

Following last weeks 500 strong Colchester peoples Peace March on the Garrison of the troops Blair is sending to the Gulf, today we established a temporary PEACE ACTION CAMP!

A Geodesic dome has been built, and anti-war banners tied to the barracks fence.

We have moved from our planned site on Ministry of Defence land (as marked on map), and are now established BEHIND the barracks, on the grass verges alongside the B1206 Butt Road, Colchester.
