A question that needs an answer.

Is it not also our obligation 'as a civilised nation' to help and provide for our own oppressed and unfortunate victims of circumstance?
Our society has been afflicted by homelessness for years, why have our kind and compassionate government never introduced centres for homeless people, where they can be induced back into society. The resources are, and have been availiable, as the facts reveal. Just look at with what speed and efficiency the government have made availiable accomodations for asylum seekers. It just goes to show what could have been done, if only the will were there. It is not.
Why is this?
Homeless people can't, and don't have a vote.
Homeless people are just human resources with no commercial value.
That is our kind and compssionate society!
