New Poll Shows Public Back Farmers Vs Supermarkets

Supermarkets justify their actions, such as importing goods from abroad, by saying that they are acting to satisfy consumer demands, but this survey exposes that hollow justification - 84% of those questioned think that supermarkets should sell UK grown products in preference to imported products when in season.
