Yesterday, sixteen Palestinian men, women, and children were rounded up in the wee hours of daybreak, forced out of their homes at gun point as the Israeli military revived it's "operation" in Nablus. They were forced to sit outside in their pajamas in the cold early-winter night. When the women and children were allowed back inside, Israeli soldiers threatened to shoot them if they were caught doing only as much as peering out of the window. The men stayed outside, some of them taking into detention.
The army's concentrated heavy presence was in the Nablus refugee camps (Askar, Balata, Ein) and Nablus city. Soldiers entered using Jeeps, tanks, APC's, and even Apache helicopters. The military has been shelling the streets of the camps and the city, but on Wednesday no injuries or any homes set to be demolished had been reported.
