STOP E$$O activists sabotage recruitment evening

On Halloween, activists from student group, People and Planet, and other Stop E$$O activists infiltrated and then sabotaged an Esso event that was aimed at trying to encourage students to come and work for their corporation.
Protesters gained access both to the room in which the presentation was taking place and gathered outside. The protesters demanded to know why esso was undermining international action on global warming. Why they wern't investing in renewable energy and how they had the guts to come to their university in london and recruit students to work for them.
The protesters were given five minutes to speak so long as they then shut up during the esso presentation. However, having used the 5 mins, the activists contnued to heckle esso members of staff and the green wash presentation.
When an esso women said, "I thought we had a deal." A stop esso activist replied, "So did we, the kyoto protocol."
