Thousands attend London anti war protest

Despite a corporate media blackout thousands of people went to Parliment square to demonsrate against plans to attack Iraq. After a rally they then went down to downing st. and onto Trafalgar square then Aldwych. There seemed to be 1 copper to every demonstrater, what were they expecting?
