A Forum on Theatre will be held in "San Salvi la città ri-nata" from the 7th to the 10th of November 2002 on the occasion of the European Social Forum that will take place in Florence from the 6th to the 10th of November. Seeing that both "culture" and "theatre as a cultural process" are topics on the fringes of contemporary society, the Forum on Theatre intends to set up a permanent assembly whose aim is to answer the following question: "A different theatre: is it possible nowadays? Staging, ethics and market".

Plenary conclusion and then... the Forum becomes a Workshop!

Stage creations and peculiar performing approaches will be housed both in conventional and non-conventional places in Florence and its environs from the 20th Oct to the 20th Nov.
