The Left Party is active in the antiwar movement,
leading struggles in unions and communities are
organizing for immigrant rights and civil rights...
We are presently involved in organizing Immigrant
Pride Day to demand amnesty for all undocumented
immigrants, defense of our civil liberties and against
war ... we expect over 20,000 people to join us on
October 12, in the Mission District, San Francisco.
The Left Party is struggling to develop Marxist and
update its theory and practice.
The Left Party is running local candidates in San
Francisco and Berkeley. Abel Mouton, editor of the
Left Party's newspaper, Frontlines, is running for the
San Francisco College Board with the support of the
party and also the Green Party, the SF Tenants Union,
the weekly SF Bay Guardian, trade union, community and
immigrant rights groups and activists.
Carlos "Beto" Estrada is running for Berkeley's City
Council, District 8th.
