Around 30 people wearing black with masks, fake guns and rocket launchers danced around a huge cardboard tank through central london, around parliament square stopping off at Downing street, the "Meet the Army" exhibition on horseguards and other locations.

Stopping the traffic and handing out leaflets to music played from a wheelbarrow mobile sound system the moving street theatre left people in no doubt of the message as people shouted "more bombs!", "more oil!" and "more war!" and cardboard cutouts of bodies were strewn in the road only to be run over by the tank.

Support came from passers by and motorists as an increasing number of police escourted the procession but apart from a few shoves they did'nt try to stop the performance protest.

The protest lasted from around 11.30am until 1pm when the tank returned to St James park for dismantling - wicked!
