TO PERSIST IN ERROR IS DIABOLICAL

“Nothing is,
Everything is becoming,
All thing are in a flux..”
HERACLITUS
Le Pen says thank you to the French “Left” wing for the result he achieved. Indeed, it is thanks to the electoral law approved by Mitterand in order to be re-elected in 1989, which was in favour of all anti-Chirac small parties that the “gauche” drowned.
VIVE LA FRANCE!
Actually we must also point out that what happened was not unexpected, on the other hand, if we look carefully at the European political situation it was predictable, already written. Europe is leaning towards the Right from Italy to Germany, from France to Holland; the very same Great Britain even if a “labour’s” one, has in Tony Blair’s a “Left” more right than Thatcher’s as her natural continuation and evolution.
“The State is, therefore, by no means a power forced on society from without; just as little is it “the reality of the ethical idea”, “the image and the reality of reason”, as Hegel maintains. Rather, it is a product of society at a certain stage of development; it is the admission that this society has become entangled in an insoluble contradiction with itself, that it has split into irreconcilable antagonisms which it is powerless to dispel. But in order that these antagonisms, these classes with conflicting economic interests, might not consume themselves and society in fruitless struggle, it became necessary to have a power, seemingly standing above society, that would alleviate the conflict and keep it within the bounds of “order”;…”
F.Engels (Origin of The Family)
It is obvious that in order to understand we must be dialectic and non-metaphysic, dialectic and non-idealist. Following Hegel’s ideals or Fourier, Rousseau, Saint Simon or Owen’s fictional abstractions only leads back to ancient mistakes, which means an aimless waste of energy. Not understanding that the pretty and captivating slogans of equality, justice and brotherhood on which culture has been based for the last 300 years, not understanding and pretending not to know, understanding that culture is still the culture of the ruling class, only creates despair amongst masses of hopeless people.
“The ideas of the ruling class are in every epoch the ruling ides, i.e. the class which is the ruling material force of society, is at the same time its ruling intellectual force. The class which has the means of material production at its disposal, has control at the same time over the means of mental production, so that thereby, generally speaking, the ideas of those who lack the means of mental production are subject to it. The ruling ideas are nothing more than the ideal expression of the dominant material relationships, the dominant material relationships grasped as ideas; hence of the relationships which make the one class the ruling one, therefore, the ideas of its dominance”.
MARX-ENGELS (The German Ideology)
Being non-dialectic leads the hallucinating minds of our “left” politicians, left politicians of the European Left, to a constant search for cadreghini and to shout victory for voting for the “Right” Chirac against the “Right” Le Pen.
What a scant consolation to make do with!
It would be interesting to know about all agreements that were hushed up in exchange of votes between the “gauche” and Chirac; we will soon find out, it’s a matter of tome and patience. Still we would like to ask the French: “ Do you remember when Mitterand was your president and the Left was ruling…or have you forgotten all about it? What’s changed except for the names?
Let’s go back to us. We all know that Europe is slowly approaching a political, economic and, though with difficulties, military unity. What Fourier foresaw more than 200 years ago is now happening: the formation of continental States. An almost forced upon evolution due to the capitalistic evolution, development and concentration however if we are dialectic and non-metaphysic or blind idealist, we know that this path is not so straight and hurdle-free and this is because economic interests are different and not everyone benefits from them.
Countries such as China, Japan, India and United States (nowadays’ steel war is telling something) certainly don’t approve, Russia is too weak (economically) and is ready to wiggle its tail to whoever is first to throw her a bone to nibble. The latest UN agreements speak clearly. “A forced step” like Putin says, whom Lenin would probably describe as “the ragged tsar”.
European and extra-European multinational industries in some European country and not any other see their regional privileges fade away; or small industrial, commercial and farming firms with a strictly national market that feel lost, helpless and crushed due to the fall of customs barriers and national protections. They all see their privileges thinning away, vanishing thus reacting as they can by nourishing their ideas of national integrity, feeding those parties and political bastion members with extremist and nationalist views even the most extreme.
The result of all these “factors” and more lead to the flourishing and developing of xenophobe nationalist parties all over Europe; thanks to a miraculous shower of money they finally succeed (lucky for them) in organising political campaigns searching for votes as, at the end of day, what counts is their number.
The ultimate goal, though with different objectives, is stopping or at least delaying the march towards the European unity.
These are clay pedestals that are destined to miserably collapse at the first gust of wind blowing against them.
Passwords are simple and very handy; social problems are doing nothing but help the situation. It is a short distance between immigration and crime increase and the Media don’t think twice at poking up a fire again, therefore a burglary goes from “pensioner burgled” to “immigrants burgle helpless pensioner”; a fight in a café becomes “clandestine Albanians massacre young customer”; a questioned prostitute becomes “Nigerian prostitute”; a drug dealer is labelled “Moroccan drug dealer” and so on. The so-called “respectable” people are frightened and don’t know what to do anymore. In addition to all that, this crowd of clandestine immigrants living in poverty when not stealing, dealing, hitting elderly women or selling their bodies, actually WORK! They are working on the side earning very low salaries therefore comes the evil equation: they come to our country and steal our work; we are unemployed and they are working. Result: labour insecurity. Being the proletariat without a real labour party thus being helpless and fearful, is historically used, thrown into the clutches of the Right movements and becomes an armed hand or a vote for Mussolini’s fascist movement or Hitler’s nazism, De Gaulle’s nationalism or Le Pen exactly. However, those pulling the strings behind all this are the good old same ones; the economic interests of some capitalistic fraction.
What is amazing is that such parties (?) as Lutte Ouvrier persist in their historical mistake of standing in the French political ballot by nourishing false illusions instead of shading a light on the nature of the State.
In their honour and everyone else’s, I would like to quote a short passage from Engel’s’ “Evolution of socialism from utopia to science”:
“..the modern State is nothing but an organisation for the bourgeoisie to keep the general external conditions of the capitalistic production way before the attacks from both working class and single capitalists. Whatever its form, the modern State is an essentially capitalistic machine, a capitalist State, the ideal collective capitalist..”
To finish, to err is human; to persist in error is diabolical!
Am I being clear or NOT?
