CLIMATE CRIMINALS CRITICAL MASS
The Rousing Toad | 13.07.2002 19:19
BP and various of their friends are planning to build a new pipeline for oil and gas from Baku in Azerbaijan to Ceyhan in Turkey. If built, the oil it transports to us in the west will pump 200 million tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere every year from 30 years. Join us on unmotorised wheels as we make noisy visits to some of the perpetrators of this less-than-needed pipeline, then move on to wash the taste out of our mouths with teas and cake at the London Action Resource Centre.
Meet at 2pm on Monday 15th July outside the National Film Theatre on the South Bank; (we aim to be at LARC by 4pm).
