Despite rumours that the WOMBLES have disappeared, we can announce that the web site ( http://www.wombles.org.uk) is up and running. Following the campaign of state harrassment against the collective, many features of the site still need to be restored and fixed.

Please remember that the idea was never for everyone to join one collective: the concept was to demonstrate that the white overalls tactic could be applied in Britain. It is down to individuals and their friends to decide their actions and tactics for a specific event.

Not every WOMBLES action requires overalls and padding. Not everyone in overalls and padding is a WOMBLE. What is important is collective solidarity and protection.
