The line-up features a host of local and national bands, DJs and performers coming together on one bill. To be held at the Cardiff Coal Exchange on: Saturday 19 January 2002 from 2pm to 2am (possibly extended so watch this space!). Confirmed acts include Blue Horses, Zion Train Sound System, Alabama 3’s D. Wayne Love and Larry Love, Nik Turner’s All Stars, Doofer, Agent J, Captain Paranoid and the Delusions, Gringo Ska, Quattro, Nation Record’s Charged and Fun-da-mental (DJ set), Optimus Prime, DJ Jaffa (Urban Poets), DJ Noise, DJ Jung, Al’s Breakzance Crew, NoFitState Circus and many more!!!!!
On the day there will be stalls and information available about the continuing Afghani crisis and other related issues. Indian cuisine will be provided by Bappujee catering. Creche facilities also available until 6pm. Children under 16 free. Families welcome. The event will be video streamed for live broadcast on the Afghan Plight Night website.
Cardiff Bothered is a loose collective of people from all walks of life who have come together to bring you Afghan Plight Night and are likely to bring more ‘parties-with-a-purpose’ your way soon!!!!..(provided someone pays the phone bill)
