A date with Iraq.

Housmans Bookshop (Caledonian Road King's Cross) has added boxes of dates to its more usual fare of peace movement literature and anti-war T-shirts.
The dates are among a consignment of half a tonne imported from Iraq by voices in the Wilderness, a group opposing the effcts of non-military sanctions on the country.
Housmans Bookshop says anyone buying or selling the sanction-busting dates is engaged in an act of civil disobedience. (it's offering 500g packs for £4)...
