Starting at 8.30 GMT, one roadblock at the village of Diristya about 15 km (10 miles) from Nablus was removed. At 10.00 a.m. GMT the group started to remove other roadblocks at another village nearby called Kesel Haris. The roadblocks of rubble, rock and concrete piled six feet high across the road to prevent traffic from passing. The campaigners are removed them using shovels and other hand tools.
Two Israeli settlers attacked Chris Dunham, a Uk national and Sarah Irving from Manchester, England. The Police arrested an Israeli for assaulting the UK nationals. The bus in which the foreign nationals was travelling was impounded. The group left when the roadblocks had been dismantled.
Yesterday, Thursday 20th December roadblocks at Hares and Yassouf villages were removed. There was one arrest – Sofia, a US national who was detained for five hours.
