On Sunday November, 4, breathingplanet will put on its 5th monthly Whirl-Mart ritual. From 12- 1 pm, we will silently push empty carts in a single file line throughout the superstore.
As we weave, wander, and whirl through the aisles, we contemplate our collective habits of over-consumption and sculpt a living portrait of RESISTANCE.
ART - ACTION - MEDITATION....BRING IT TO THE PLAZA!!!
SYNCHRONOUS ACTION:
The folks involved with breathingplanet hope that someday Whirl-Mart will be a nation(or world)wide ritual. But for now, we are happy to announce that on November 4th, at noon, THERE WILL BE SIMULTANEOUS WHIRL-MART RITUALS in Albany, NY and Pittsburgh, PA.
