Stop the War

It's becoming increasingly clear the US government
intends to use the murder of 5,000 people in the
terrorist attacks there as an excuse to go to war.
Such a war will just result in the deaths of tens
or even hundreds of thousands more innocent people.
Such a war will just reinforce the factors that
led to the suicide bombings. This war must be
opposed.

Already people all over the globe, including in
New York and Washington DC are mobilising in
opposition to this war. To aid this mobilisation
a new web site has been created on Struggle at

As well a large collection of articles and links
about this crisis the site includes a PDF file
of the statement released by the Washington DC
Anti-Capitalist Convergence. The Anti-Capitalists
Convergence is a coalition of anarchists and other
anti-capitalists who were organizing direct action
against the now cancelled September meetings of
the World Bank and IMF. They are now calling for
this protest to be replaced with "a march
against the growing capitalist war on
Saturday morning September 29th". You can
