September 26 and 27 in Naples, Italy: NATO summit. Main item on the agenda, the so-called "space shield".
WE DEMAND THE IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THIS SUMMIT; WE MAKE A CALL TO THE WHOLE ANTI-CAPITALIST MOVEMENT TO HELP US BUILD A MASSIVE DEMONSTRATION WHICH WILL CULMINATE WITH THE SIEGING OF THE PALACES WHERE THE SUMMIT IS HELD.

The No-Global Network expresses its profound indignation about the choice to host the next NATO military parade in the city of Naples. We invite the governmental offices dealing with this issue to act immediately towards the cancellation of the summit.

In March more then 30, 000 people filled the streets of Naples to protest against the OCDE summit on E-government. After only six months the lords of globalisation choose to return to the same city. Despite the recent tragic happenings in Genoa, they seem to be oblivious of
the consequences such course of action will provoke.

No one can expect this warlords' meeting to go unnoticed.
If the summit will take place, thousands of people will gather in Naples to denounce the criminal and murderous "National Missile Defence" -the so-called space shield designed by the U. S. to continue sanctioning its planetary supremacy.

In the aftermath of Genoa much preoccupation and commotion has been expressed about the Roman meeting of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) scheduled for November; while it is unthinkable that the NATO summit will take place without the presence of the legitimate voices of protest that will speak and shout their dissent…

This time, given the criminal and dramatic theme of the summit, tens of thousands of cops will not be enough to protect the warlords. There will not be enough barriers, cages and red zones. Our profound and radical dissent towards this anachronistic arm-race will be manifested
on the streets through equally radical forms of direct action and protest.

We will not be unprepared like we were on March 17 in Piazza
Municipio, when the police organised the mass-beating of thousands of peaceful and unprotected demonstrators. They might shoot like they did in Genoa, but this will not be enough to stop our determination.
