Numbers and nationalities are being released regularly for those imprisoned and in hospital but still not enough

During the G8 Summit 280 people were arrested. There are now
about 50 left in jail. The No Borders, No Nation caravan was arrested leaving the country. This put 25 people in jail, 17 of them are Austrian. They face the charges of Belonging to a Criminal Organization (the black block) and Destruction/Looting. There is little evidence except black clothing. The majority of the other prisoners, 22, are German. The police think the "black block" is mostly German.

There are also several other nationalities including 5 US citizens between the two groups. They face a series of serious charges but again there is little evidence to connect individuals to actual crimes. Prisoners report abuses in the high security prison where some are being held. Family members and a few others have been able to see prisoners as well. Of the 93 arrested at the Diaz school 92 are now free. Many are still injured since originally 52 were sent to the hospital and 32 stayed for a while. There are still a dozen or so in the hospital. All charges against them have been dropped. Two are in serious condition but conscious and the others are recovering but most will have permanent damage. Carlo Giuliani was shot to death, also a French activist was killed by a car while waiting for a bus at the border. Yesterday 2 more Americans were arrested leaving Genoa.
Yesterday there were still 18 missing which seems to be a
generally held consenus figure.
So where are they?
There was a definite report of woman in a coma following a batoning after the first protest clash. It was suggested she was already dead but being kept on life support. This is an entirely different report than the one about an activist injured in a car crash before reaching Genoa. One was in her 40s the other in her 20s. One was French the other Spanish. There is also no information about Italian arrests, or
hospitalisations. I cannot recall seeing one report about Italian arrests, injuries, charges.
Why not?
